The stone is square and has a smooth surface. ASAK Drenstein is designed for heavier vehicles and all constructions where one wishes to drain surface water. Drenstein is intended for mechanical laying.
In conventional pavements, rainwater will flow on the surface to ditches where it is collected and led into pipelines. Permeable pavements with ASAK Drenstein allow the water to flow through the surface (between each stone) and down into the permeable substrate.
ASAK Drenstein is best suited as a solid pavement for parking facilities, squares, and areas for pedestrian traffic.
