This strikingly simple bicycle stand was designed by landscape architect Jenny Osuldsen, who is a partner in the award-winning architectural practice Snøhetta. Duo’s streamlined shape and efficient use of material exemplifies Snøhetta’s signature minimalistic style. The bicycle stand makes a perfect complement to modern architecture, and provides a practical design that urban cyclists can easily use and appreciate. As the name suggests, Duo provides space for two bicycles, each parked on either side.
The product is available with a zinc-electroplated unpainted finish, or zinc-electroplated and powder-coated in standard colour white RAL 9010. Other colours are available for an additional fee.
The base plate bolts into the surface or, alternatively, can be prepared to be bolted 20 cm beneath a pre-cast surface.
