At Bø elementary school, we worked out a plan that had separated areas for different functions, with also gives the outdoor spaces a set of unique zones. The separated functions are spread out from the heart of the building which located right in the middle. This gives a good flow, and a nice place for informal meetings and happenings.
All grades have their own home zones expressed with a unique colorful space to hang out. The classrooms are a setup of volumes, varies in sizes, heights and light orientations which is gives you a sense of changes of the day, this is also expressed in the facades.
