Emergency Cabin
Architects: Scandihus
Year: 2017
Area: 15 m2
Location: Preikestolen, Forsand, Norge

Preikestolen is one of Norway's most visited attractions, and one of the country's most spectacular photo subjects. Preikestolen has been named one of the world's most spectacular viewing points by both CNN Go and Lonely Planet. It rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord.

In order to create a safe shelter for hikers who need to rest or who got injured, Scandihus built this emergency cabin using Kebony Character cladding.
