Arkitektkontoret Vest AS was founded in 1988 and is located on the southwest coast of Norway. We consist of several architects with a wide range of experience in all diciplines of architecture working from small scale prosjects to large developments.
Our approach is to make contemporary and timeless architecture reflecting local building traditions that meet the needs of the client. We are located in an area with challenging weather conditions and design sustainable buildings with attention to detail and use of natural materials. Our designs is based on simplistic plans and a strong line. We emphasizes the relation to human scale and the exploration of space and natural light in our buildings.
