Stein hamre arkitektkontor is a Norwegian architect office situated in Mo i Rana and Lofoten. Stein Hamre founded the office in 1982, and offers 18 skilled architects, engineers, planners and economists, making great architecture and area planning, mostly in the Nordland county.
The office has got a lot of attention for designing hydro-electric power stations, and got an Architizer A+ award for sustainable architecture for the power station at Øvre Forsland in 2016. The portfolio shows a large number of various projects, such as private housing, larger housing projects, office buildings, shopping mall, medical centers, retirement homes, schools and kindergardens, hotels, skatepark, cottages and more.
