The name ‘Fave’ is a nod to the 80s, serving as a link to the chair’s design inspiration but reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Like a blast from the past, but in the best way possible. 

The shape of the chair is sleek and intuitive, consisting of a frame connected by a seat and back. The frame, which inspired the original idea, has a curved, clean form and is available with either a mirror chrome steel base (Cr. III) or a black powdercoated steel base. Three slats form the seat, merged into one cushion for enhanced comfort, while the back features a cylinder-shaped cushion. The design of the Fave Chair encourages relaxed and informal sitting positions, inviting users to lounge more freely. While designed for contemporary lounging, it fits into multiple environments. When not in use, it’s a stylish addition to any room. However, when it stands, it draws attention, catching the eye and tempting you to give in and linger. 

While NORR11 is usually known for their wooden furniture and upholstery, they are moving towards something new. The Fave Chair is characterized by a more sleek and polished look, with references to the 80s. However, the brand’s design philosophy is to blend and mix references from different time periods, design directions, cultures and materials. Avoiding stagnation and repetition is part of their DNA, so moving into a new era is not uncommon after all. Despite its very intuitive, almost naive expression, the Fave Chair is a very well-considered piece of design. A lot of thought has been given to how the universe can be expanded and how it can be combined with the existing series, adding something new to the context. 

Comfort takes precedence, and the chair greets you with its soft, rounded cushions, while the slightly lower frame gives it a genuine lounge feel.
