Sagastad Vitensenter is a presentation center for the archaeological findings from the epoc of vikings. The plan solution of the building is based on one-room principle, where the circular room has the same diameter as the cirkular formed grave from viking age. From å replica three meter above the main floor, the room gives visitors the occation to look at the ship from different position. At the same time this room is designed to make place for exhibitions in good zones around the central placed ship (30 meter long), even zones for boatbuilding, handicraft, music, dance and socializing.
