The Scindapsus Aureum (Epipremnum Aureum), native to the southern Pacific regions like the Solomon Islands and Northern Australia, is a versatile climber that reaches up to 20m in the wild. It features glossy, heart-shaped leaves with yellow or white spots, growing 10-20cm long. Indoors, it can stretch 2-3m, either vertically using a moss pole or as a hanging plant. It thrives in warm, bright conditions but avoids direct sunlight to prevent leaf damage. The soil should be kept slightly moist, with regular misting for the leaves, especially in winter. During spring to autumn, feeding with houseplant food is advisable.
